Frequently Asked Questions

How soon do I need to send my flowers?

Preservation is time-sensitive. Flowers should be dropped off as soon as possible after your event, ideally within 24–48 hours. If you’re unsure, contact us right away and we’ll guide you on next steps.

What types of flowers can be preserved?

Most flowers can be preserved, including roses, peonies, ranunculus, orchids, dahlias, carnations, baby’s breath and greenery to name just a few. Some flowers naturally preserve better than others. While we cannot guarantee exact results, we work carefully to achieve the best possible outcome for each bloom.

Can already dried flowers be preserved?

Yes. Pre-dried flowers can be preserved, and using flowers that have already been properly dried may reduce the overall preparation time, as additional drying is not required.

That said, processing times can still vary depending on design complexity, order volume, and the preservation method selected. The condition and dryness of the flowers will also be reviewed to ensure they are suitable for preservation and meet our quality standards.

Will my flowers look exactly the same?

Preserved flowers will not look identical to fresh flowers. Colour shifts, texture changes, and natural variations are part of the preservation process. These changes are expected and embraced as part of creating a one-of-a-kind keepsake.

What preservation options do you offer?

We offer:

✔️ Resin flower preservation

✔️ Memory boxes

✔️ Preserved flower bottles

Each option is custom designed using your real flowers and tailored to your preferences.

How long does the preservation process take?

Preservation is a slow, careful process. Most pieces take 8–16 weeks to complete, depending on the design and preservation method. We take on a limited number of orders to ensure quality and attention to detail.

Can I add personalization such as names, initials, or an event date?

Yes. Many of our preservation pieces can be personalized with names, initials, or a meaningful date. Personalization is kept subtle and intentionally placed to complement the design.

Before anything is added, we will send a digital mockup of the personalization for your approval. This ensures spelling, layout, and placement are correct before it becomes part of your finished piece.

If personalization is being added inside a resin piece, any paper items (such as invitations or photos) must be laminated to protect them from the heat generated during the resin curing process. We will guide you on what is suitable and how to prepare these items.

Can I include personal items with my flowers?

Yes. Memory boxes can include personal items such as invitations, vows, ribbons, photos, or small keepsakes. We’ll discuss layout and design to ensure everything is displayed thoughtfully and harmoniously with your preserved florals.

For resin preservation, personal paper items may be included only if they are laminated to prevent damage during the resin process. Items not suitable for resin can often still be incorporated into memory boxes as an alternative.

What size options are available?

Sizes vary by preservation type. During the booking process, we’ll help you choose a size that best suits your flowers, space, and vision.  You can click on the collections to view our sizes and prices.

Is resin preservation safe and long-lasting?

Yes. We use high-quality, professional resin designed for clarity and durability. With proper care, resin pieces are made to last for many years.

How should I care for my preserved piece?

Preserved pieces should be kept out of direct sunlight and away from heat or moisture. Gentle dusting is all that’s needed to maintain your keepsake.

Do all flowers dry the same?

No. Flowers do not dry uniformly, and natural variations in colour and texture are to be expected during the preservation process. Some changes that may occur include:

🌸 Red tones may deepen or shift to burgundy

🌸 White blooms may soften to a creamy or ivory tone

🌸 Delicate flowers may become thinner or paper-like once dried
🌸 Succulents cannot be dried or preserved in resin; faux succulents are recommended instead

🌸 Some flowers may develop translucent areas or natural “bruising” when cast in resin

These characteristics are part of working with real, organic materials. Proper care and timely handling of your flowers prior to drop-off helps achieve the best possible results.

Do preserved flowers fade over time?

Some subtle colour changes may occur over time due to natural aging and light exposure. This is normal and part of working with real flowers.

Can you preserve flowers for memorials or celebrations of life?

Yes. Memorial and celebration-of-life preservation is handled with care, sensitivity, and respect. We understand how meaningful these flowers are and consider it an honour to create a lasting keepsake that reflects the life and memory of your loved one.

Each piece is thoughtfully designed to feel personal, gentle, and meaningful.

Will my preserved piece look exactly like the fresh flowers?

Preservation is a handmade process using real flowers and resin. Each piece is created over many days and poured in layers, allowing time to properly cure.

Because of the nature of resin and natural materials, small bubbles, natural inclusions, colour shifts, and visible pour lines may occur, particularly on block-style pieces. These characteristics are normal and part of handcrafted resin preservation.

While every piece is made with great care, preserved flowers will not look identical to fresh flowers, nor will they be perfectly uniform or flawless. Each piece is one of a kind.  We approach every memorial piece with sensitivity and care, creating a lasting keepsake meant to be cherished and remembered.

Do you accept last-minute or rush orders?

We work on a limited schedule and cannot guarantee availability for last-minute requests. Please contact us as soon as possible to check availability.

What if my flowers arrive damaged?

Flowers are delicate by nature. While we take great care, we cannot be responsible for damage that occurs prior to receiving your flowers. We will always do our best to work with what arrives.
